Kezia and April 'listening intently'

Kezia and April ‘listening intently’

Both are set in faraway lands?

Both are books that were turned into films recently?

Both feature a protagonist who isn’t wholly human?

Both are the main influences Curtis Jobling, the author of the Wereworld series, says inspired him to follow passions for writing and distant worlds into a career of writing about distant worlds. They also stoked the furnace of his imagination to create the characters Bob the BuilderRaa-Raa the Noisy Lion and Frankenstein’s Cat.

April and Kezia, together with Beth and Finlay, from Ysgol Pen-y-Bryn, interviewed Curtis Jobling about working to your strengths and sought advice on how to turn notebook ideas into creative careers by approaching publishers and agents.

Their interview will be the first to feature on a website created for BBC School Report Day on March 27th. Keep an eye out for the article and more information over the next week. http://www.curtisjobling.com/
